About the Role:
Join Skilled Nursing Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician and play a vital role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients. In this dynamic position, you'll work alongside a dedicated team in Hayward, CA, ensuring our clients receive the highest quality medications and support.
Schedule:
- Start times may vary as we are a 24 hour operation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking pharmaceuticals.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and resolving issues.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles in our pharmacy system.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in all pharmacy operations.
- Support the pharmacist in compounding medications as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
